Agro and Food Processing sector is one of the sunrise sectors of economy and Government of India’s major thrust area. Under the Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Government of India’s Mega Food Park scheme, Shree Ram Mega Food Park has been sanctioned and set up at NH-62, Vill. - Palana, Tehsil &District-Bikaner, Rajasthan. This is one of the famous city in the agro and food processing sector. The Mega Food Park has been designed on the demand-driven hub and spoke model with provisions of strong backward and forward linkages that create a sustainable agro horticultural value chain.

Total land under the project is 89.96 acres. The Project development work is started including the major infrastructure of roads, electricity connectivity, water storage, complete boundary wall, the CFC facilities like Cold Storage, Warehouses, and Labs etc.

This MFP Promoted by Mr. Amit Goyal (Star Agri Warehousing), Rich Soya Products Pvt. Ltd., Delhi & Nokha Agrotech Pvt. Ltd., Bikaner. The promoters bring together with leading experience in food sectors like food processing, warehousing and infrastructure development.

Besides we have common infrastructure facility like multi commodity cold storage having capacity 10000 MT., modern warehouses with a big capacity of 20500 MT. which can store any food grain, pulses or agriculture commodity, fully automatic sorting & grading line for groundnut having capacity 8 MT/Hr, Multipurpose automatic sorting & grading for cereals & pulses, spices line having capacity 8Mt/Hr, Customized SDF (Standard Design Factory) with plug & play facility for small &medium enterprises with 1000 Sqmt. and Solar power Plant to use of green energy having capacity 1MW. Also we have two primary processing centers PPC at Nagaur and PPC Lunkarnasar .These PPCs shall be equipped with warehousing cleaning & grading lines and cold storage facilities.

There are various attractive State and Central Government schemes and incentives for the setting up of processing units in Mega Food Park. Majorly 60 percent budget allocation reserved for Food Park under unit scheme/ CEFPPC Scheme (Grant /Subsidy up to Rs 5 Cr.) MOFPI under Pardhan Mantri Kisan Sampada Yojana and Other more schemes of PMKSY, APEDA, NABARD (Grant /Subsidy up to 1 Cr. To 10 Cr.) And other various state government benefits which are applicable for Food Processing Sectors.
